The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched a new initiative to provide credit assistance to the marginalized sections of society on March 13. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the event.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the National Portal for Social Upliftment and Employment Aadhaar Public Welfare (PM-Sooraj) was launched, it helps keep the most deprived sections of society at the forefront. The main objective of starting the PM-Sooraj portal is SC, Loan assistance is to be provided to ST, OBC, and workers and Dalit class citizens will be given the benefit of getting loans ranging from ₹ 100000 to ₹ 15 lakh. All the economically weaker section candidates living in the country can avail the benefits of the scheme and get business loans.
PM SURAJ Portal launched, 1 lakh entrepreneurs will get loans
PM Suraj Portal Scheme was announced through the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 13 March 2024. PM Suraj Portal is a national portal, through this scheme one lakh eligible persons will be given the opportunity to get loans.
